If you have seen my posts from the last few weeks, you'll know that Steve and I recently ventured to Grand Forks, ND and Winnipeg, Canada. Neither of us had ever been to either location, so we came home with plenty of photos and little souvenirs. Steve and I already have a tradition to mark a trip to a new state, and we recently started a new one for international travels. It is an International Shadow Box.
In these shadow boxes, you'll find the location, spelled out with photos from the trip, maps and brochures, ticket stubs, beer labels, money, shells, and menus. This is a wonderful and easy way to save little souvenirs and display them, along with photos from the trip!
If you have any questions about he process, or need clarifications please leave a comment down below. And if you give this DIY a try, I'd love to see! Post a picture on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #KSDIY.
As always, thank you for reading, Helen
