A blog dedicated to creating a colorful life!
Absolutely thrilled to be a part of @kcmomsblog's Holiday Shopping Guide! Check it out to see not only see Kaleidoscope Spinning, but several other amazing Kansas City local businesses, some of which I absolutely love! I have included the link to the blog post in my bio. Go check it out! #ShopKC2018
Thank you for your service 🇺🇸❤️💙 #worldwar1 #veteransday
Thanksgiving is officially in two weeks, which means we are also quickly approaching #SmallBusinessSaturday. On Saturday, November 24th, embrace your local community both online and IRL and #ShopLocal. Be sure to check back to @kaleidoscopespinning’s instagram and facebook page to see the deals and offers we will have on @etsy in honor of #SmallBizSat! 📷: @etsy
I believe it was @ilizas who said it best, “All girls are required to love fall. Outside the temperature drops from, like, 86 to 63. We pop out of the ground like gophers. We sense that fall is here.” My fall coat has pulled out of storage, I have picked my go-to scarf, and I am embracing every walk with Dakota and the view from my desk just to see all for the gorgeous fall foliage!
If you have a head on your shoulders (or on the ground :P) then you better have voted today! Polls are still open for a few hours. 🇺🇸
To combat your election hangover, you can come visit me tomorrow at CorePower Yoga. This month we are exploring the Crown Chakra and our focus will be Headstands and Rabbit Pose. If you zoom in closely, you cab see my #IVoted sticker! #electionday
This print, and other like it are available on my @etsy page. Link in bio.
I was lucky enough to have turned 18 six weeks before the 2008 election. My mom called out of first period and took me to vote for the very first time. I felt honored and privileged and proudly wore my “I Voted” sticker around for the rest of the day. I was one of the few students at my high school who was eligible to vote that year. Since then I have voted in every presidential and midterm election, either on election day or absentee. Every time I vote get a jolt of happiness mixed thrill. Everyday we walk around with this power to choose who represents our voice, our mind, and our beliefs. While we may not have the opportunity to exercise this power everyday, TODAY we do! There is literally no excuse not to vote. We all believe in something. What do you believe?
Being a creative person comes with a variety of emotions (lucky @stevenmharm!) I could spend hours working on one thing that I love and then hate it the very next day. Today alone, has already shown several highs and lows. It’s truly a never ending roller coaster and as crazy as it sounds, try to embrace every minute of it! Can you relate?
It’s Monday morning and I need coffee. But it’s going to be hard to compete with the coffee I got at the @starbucksreserve in Seattle. To start, the entire shop was unbelievable! It’s literally the Wonka Factory for coffee! We got to see coffee roasted right in front of us and had the opportunity to try new and exclusive @Starbucks flavors. The coffee was absolutely delicious in the perfect setting sitting in-between a giant window and a fire place, huddled in our corner of the Reserve. Have you had the chance to see this place in person?
Congratulations to all who ran the New York City Marathon this morning! Your accomplishment should be celebrated! Swipe left to see a few color choices for the NYC Marathon as well as the Indianapolis Marathon which was yesterday. Know someone who ran either marathon this weekend? Tag them below!
We arrived safe and sound to our KC home from Seattle last night. While waiting at the airport, I started to “doodle” on Adobe Illustrator and I think I’ve developed something really cool. Here is a little sneak peak! Feel free to guess what you think it is down below!
